With over 30 years in the culinary field and a lover of all things sharp, I realized if you are not passionate about what you do then its just a job.

Whether you are holding a knife and it makes you smile, or slicing and dicing your way through dinner with ease is exciting, or maybe just getting the job done safely is most important. We all know that a perfectly honed blade is crucial to any project. I love knives and a nice, sharp razor edge and the shine of the perfectly polished steel makes me happy.

I’ve spent a good portion of my life sharpening blades - from my first pocket knife used to whittle sticks as a kid, or my father showing me how to get a razor edge on my hunting knives, to keeping my daily chef knife and my wife’s garden tools and sewing scissors sharp - it’s been a passion for me and I enjoy it.
